GridSmart™ - Our GridSmart is an efficient, maintenance-free solar lighting system for utility grid-tie street and parking lot applications. GridSmart is an excellent alternative to bulky roof or ground mounted photovoltaic net-metering systems. Our standard GridSmart uses AC induction lights and does not require batteries. PathLight™ - Our PathLight is a compact, maintenance-free solar lighting system for off-grid applications such as sidewalks, transit stops, trails, running tracks, and bicycle paths. PathLight utilizes LED technology and is battery based. PathLight is undergoing final tests and will be available shortly.

Roadway Beacons – Our Roadway Beacons include solar powered Advance Warning Beacons. Beacons include 24-hour warning flashers, school zone and cross-walk lights. Our Roadway Beacons utilizes LED technology and is battery based. The beacons are undergoing final tests and will be available shortly.

GridFree™ Solar Lights

Now you can add light virtually any where and provide years of efficient, maintenance-free lighting for off-electrical grid applications. Our standard GridFree™ combines the reliability and exceptional performance of  Everlast induction lights;  Solar Street Lights USA's artful yet strong structural elements with Solar Street Lights USA's engineered solar electric power system.  GridFree is also available with an LED light fixture on a custom basis. GridFree™ is a  Made-in-America product especially designed to meet the demanding performance and lighting needs of roadway engineers, parking lot designers, the military, landscape architects, and outdoor lighting professionals.

Our standard GridFree™ features are:

• Turn-key - Complete system, mounts on our 5"x5" or 6"x6" square galvanized steel pole or can be adapted to mount on wood, fiberglass, concrete or other steel poles.
• Designed for fixture mounting heights from 18 feet to 34 feet.
• Cobra Head and Shoe Box style fixtures with Type II to Type IV distribution; lumen output ranges from 3350 to 9000 lumens; standard CRT is 5000K and the CRI is 80 plus.
• Lamp wattages are 40 Watts, 70 Watts, 100 Watts; Step-Dim dual wattage lamps are 35/70 Watts and 50/100 Watts.
• Choice of Full Cutoff (Dark Sky Compliant) or Semi-Cutoff fixtures.
• Architectural mount withstands 170mph gusts.
• Locking NEMA 3R battery and electronics enclosure made with heavy aluminum and stainless steel hardware; includes neoprene gasket around the door and a neoprene pad to insulate the battery from the enclosure floor. Mounts at the top or bottom of the pole.
• Long life, deep cycle sealed batteries.
• Temperature compensating battery charger and light controller.
• UL approved components, designed to meet IESNA recommended practices.
• Simple installation - Prewired with connector ends clearly labeled, holes are predrilled and checked for fit, a pull string allows for quick wiring, the installation package includes a manual, extra fuses, extra hardware and a compass. GridFree  takes less than an hour to mount on a Solar Street Lights USA pole.
• 10 year system warranty.

GridSmart provides monitored/measured power to your local utility during the day instead of charging batteries. Excess power (produced minus consumed) can be claimed as carbon credit or solar credits.
